한남 미군주둔지 도시설계 계획안 - 구 한남외인 아파트

초록

The main theme of this project is to study on effective plan and urban participation for the reclamation of american army camps that have existed without context because of “military and foreign culture"s distinctiveness”. Niblo Barracks was built in 1980 and it has been home to U.S. military members and their families for 34 years. The main purpose of this project is to suggest on urban structure clearly through participation of the returned area that has been existed like an island. These sites reflect the history of a country fragmented but it has its own urban fabric because of the "distinctiveness". Therefore, the main thinking of this project is, first, to induce returned area to urban participation by making an urban structure for the future fabric. Second, make huge open spaces to the Seoul city area developed by high density. Finally, overcome a history which has been cut off through a various spacial experiences.
