신기술도입에 대한 정치경제학적 해석: 지배동맹형성모형을 중심으로

초록

The objective of this study was to provide a political-economic reinterpretation of technological changes. We investigated the factors that contribute to the successful adoption and diffusion of new technologies under varying power distributions, employing historical analysis and model analysis. Sequentially, we explored theories such as the disruptive equilibrium theory, the creative instability hypothesis, and theories that emphasize political processes like alliance formation. Through modeling and comparison of these theories, we established that the introduction of technology is influenced not only by economic factors such as expected returns and demand but also by the level of conflict and a society’s ability to effectively manage conflicts arising from technology adoption. Our findings highlighted the importance of government capacity to handle conflicts, the maturity of democracy in conflict management (rather than resolution), a political system that accommodates diverse voices, and the development of social trust and social capital among society members as crucial factors for the successful adoption of new technologies.
