태권도 퍼포먼스 기반 예능 프로그램 구현 양상 연구 : ˂위대한쇼 태권˃을 중심으로

초록

This study examines the format and artistic potential of Taekwondo performances in the variety show, ˂The Greatest Show Taekwon˃. Analysis revealed the show structurally failed to promote deep viewer participation due to operational and evaluative inconsistency, confining the audience to a ‘spectator' role. Paradoxically, the program demonstrated Taekwondo’s profound potential to evolve into a comprehensive stage art, particularly through performances led by non-Taekwondo experts leveraging Taekwondo’s inherent ‘open integration' characteristic. Success hinges on three conditions: 1) Goal-Oriented System Design to define expert roles; 2) A Creative Process utilizing the ‘open integration' dynamic; and 3) An Active Participation Mechanism to transition viewers into participants.
