여성주의 웹툰, 혐오를 넘어 연대와 동반으로

초록

This article is to investigate the identity and orientation of feminism webtoons through analyzing the texts of those in the current context. In this article, feminism webtoons refer to texts that pose problems of gender inequality, request an active fightback against absurd situations and violence, and seek for alternatives. This research comprehensively analyzed the texts that actively raised issues about the structural violence of inequality, constantly committed by paternalism, male superiority, and capitalism. Also, the strategic effectiveness and limitations were assessed. This article avoided normative discourse-oriented criticisms, paying attention to the new possibility of solidarity and companionship sought through the process of awakening-rage/sympathy-practice triggered by interaction with the readers.
