스마트폰 과도사용 중재 모바일 앱 분석: 중재 방법 관점

초록

Recently there have been growing concerns over problematic smartphone use (also known as smartphone addiction) in Korea. To mitigate this problems, application developers designed diverse mobile apps and released them in commercial app stores. However, our understanding of such applications are very limited. In this paper, we aim to answer the following questions: 1) What are the popular intervention mechanisms? 2) Are there any missing design dimensions? 3) Are there any evidence-based treatment methods? In this paper, we begin with presenting three key themes of usage intervention, i.e., blocking, usage warning, and motivational enhancement, by analyzing published 27 intervention apps on the app stores. Such critical analysis allowed us to systematically explore for research directions for designing intervention applications.
