일본의 경제안보정책이 중･일관계에 미치는 영향

초록

In the current international political and economic environment where the conflict between the United States and China is intensifying, Japan is responding to China by strengthening its economic security policy. In 2022, the Kishida Cabinet established the Economic Security Promotion Act, providing a legal basis for implementing economic security policies and strengthening export management at the national level. This paper addresses analysis on the major trade conflicts between China and Japan. Based on this analysis, this paper seeks to derive the process of how Japan is responding to trade conflicts with China through the Economic Security Act. We also analyze how Japan's response through the Economic Security Act is affecting China–Japan relations. This paper suggests that Japan's recent economic and security policies are causing trade conflict between China and Japan, and are also having a negative impact on China–Japan political and diplomatic relations. However, given that China and Japan are highly interdependent economically, it is possible that the conflict following the establishment of Japan's Economic Security Act will be temporary, and efforts to restore relations between the two countries will always exist.
