초록

In today's age of industrialization, knowledge, and information, the definition and standards of family are changing, which in turn affects society and culture as a whole. The social perception of death and ancestral rites has also evolved in response to the reduction of family members. The purpose of this study is to understand the culture of ancestral rites that have changed with the changes of the times and to develop a modern Utensils used in Ancestral Rites design suitable for it. As for the research method, first, it was reviewed through domestic literature research and precedent research. Second, based on the survey conducted by the researcher, the current status of the Utensils used in Ancestral Rites industry, and modernization cases, it was classified into the requirements of the times and the requirements for inheriting traditional culture. A requirement for inheriting traditional culture is to maintain the traditional morphological characteristics of Utensils used in Ancestral Rites. The requirements of the times are the simplification of rituals and the convenience of maintenance. Based on the research results, requirements, the modern Utensils used in Ancestral Rites design concept was established. Modern Utensils used in Ancestral Rites is, first, a high-heeled form inheriting tradition. Second, the storage efficiency and stability are good and the package is considered. Third, the material is stainless steel and plastic synthetic resin that are easy to maintain. Fourth, the composition of Utensils used in Ancestral Rites is within 10 in total with five Utensils used in Ancestral Rites, excluding basic food. At the same time, computer modeling was proposed based on the modern Utensils used in Ancestral Rites design concept.
