Fabrication of micro-patterned surfaces by polymer ilkjet printing
초록
Biological surfaces have elaborate and sophisticated micro/nano-patterns which play a critical role in many important biological functions. In recent, inkjet printing has gained increasing attention because it allows the fabrication of complex patterns with an aid of computational topology design (CTD). Poly(caprolactone) (PCL) is an US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved material that has been used in the human body as drug delivery carriers, sutures, adhesion barriers, scaffolds for tissue engineering, implant materials, etc. [1] In this study, we demonstrate micro-patterning of PCL by piezoelectric (PZT) inkjet printing. Polymer PZT inkjet printing have a great promise for use in rapid prototyping and patterning of biomaterials.
