자이로이드 패턴 조명의 셀 크기 변화에 따른 사용자 인지와 수용 의도
초록
This study originates from the increasing interest in internal structures as formative elements in design rather than purely functional components. Among such structures, gyroid patterns have been recognized for their geometric continuity and visual potential; however, empirical studies examining how variations in structural design parameters influence user perception and acceptance remain limited. The purpose of this study is to exploratively investigate how variations in cell size in gyroid-pattern lighting affect user perception and affective responses, and how these perceptual factors relate to design acceptance. Accordingly, visual stimuli of gyroid-pattern lighting with three different cell size conditions were produced, and a repeated-measures survey was conducted using identical questionnaire items. The results indicate that variations in cell size led to significant differences in several perceptual and affective factors, while design acceptance was more closely associated with affective response and perceived aesthetic value than with structural perception alone. These findings suggest that subtle structural design variables may influence user perception in different ways, even within the same formative structure.
