코미디에서 ‘춘향전 콘텐츠’의 스토리텔링 전환에 대하여 -20세기 춘향전 이본의 구축-

초록

“Chunhyangjeon” has taken the path of changing storytelling by switching between various genres of video media. The authors decided to collectively refer to this as “Chunhyangjeon Contents.” Chunhyangjeon has created a storytelling transformation in the genres of movies, advertising, and drama and sitcoms. At this time, the conversion followed the method of extension, modification, replacement, and quotation of transmedia storytelling, and among these, the method of conversion of modification was most utilized. Through the crystal conversion method, the story world of “Chunhyangjeon” can be multiplied. Therefore, we focus on the storytelling conversion method of “Chunhyangjeon” in comedy. A total of 14 comedies were produced, including one in the 1980s, nine in the 1990s, two in the 2000s, and two in the 2010s. Among the content of the comedy Chunhyangjeon that can be confirmed, the majority was done via the conversion method. The five aspects were found to overlap: correction, correction and expansion, correction and potential, potential and quotation, correction and potential, and quotation. In particular, this study focused on nine types of comedy content using the conversion method related to modification. First, the contents of the revision are “KBS Comic Drama” (1984), “MBC Scoop TV Entertainment” (1993), “MBC Sunday Night,” 262 “TV Life Theater: Chunhyangjeon” (1994), and 458 “Chunhyangjeon” (1998). By modifying the appearance and character of the main supporting characters in “Chunhyangjeon,” the story world was reinvented by transforming not only the plot but also the setting. Second, the content of the revision and expansion is the 18th Monthly Business (1995) of “KBS Classic Haikai Theater.” From the perspective that the story of “Chunhyangjeon” is an extension, and from that the story is not over, it can be viewed as a revision. Third, the content of the revision and avant-garde is found in 438,439 episodes of Chunhyang Ghosts 1, 2 episodes (1997). It means that the main supporting character of “Chunhyangjeon” has been reborn and exists in this world. Through overlapping characters in previous and present lives, the setting transcends time and space, leading to the transformation of not only characters but also plot and story worlds. Fourth, the contents of the revision, avant-garde, and quotation are “MBC Comedy House” (2003) and “SBS Wuchasa” (2016). The story world of “Chunhyangjeon” has been expanded to today's viewpoint by modifying characters and plots in the 2000s, citing the material of “Chunhyangjeon.” The storytelling transition from comedy to Chunhyangjeon contents was overwhelmingly revised. In addition, the characters Chunhyang, Mongryong, Byun Hak-do, and Wolmae, which are the main characters rather than the supporting actors, have been modified to contribute to the growth of the story world. After the transition of Chunhyangjeon in the 19th century, the construction of video Chunhyangjeon content will continue as part of building the story world of Chunhyangjeon in the 20th century.
