궁궐의 단청 문양을 활용한 스카프 디자인 연구: CLO 3D 시뮬레이션을 중심으로

A Study on Scarf Design Utilizing Dancheong Patterns of Royal Palaces: Focusing on CLO 3D Simulation

초록

This study explored the potential of traditional patterns for fashion commercialization by reinterpreting the Dancheong patterns of palaces in a contemporary manner, applying them to scarf designs, and visualizing them using CLO 3D. Dancheong's centrality, symmetry, and color harmony demonstrate a high degree of formative compatibility with modern textile design. Five scarf designs were developed based on seven motifs extracted from Gyeongbokgung Palace's Dancheong, and digital simulations were used to analyze their shape distortion, color harmony, and wearability. The results demonstrated that Dancheong patterns possess significant expandability as a visual and practical resource, and CLO 3D served as an effective tool for developing design strategies. This study is significant in that it empirically demonstrates the potential for a contemporary transformation of traditional visual culture.
