매체 생태학 관점에서 생성형 AI의 3D 애니메이션에 대한 구조적 재구성 분석

초록
This study employs Media Ecology as its theoretical framework to analyze how Generative AI restructures the four key dimensions of 3D animation— production, visual language, authorship, and reception. The findings indicate that Generative AI transforms the traditional linear pipeline into a nonlinear, prompt-driven iterative structure, while establishing a new visual language through algorithmic aesthetics, characterized by high-saturation colors, blurred boundaries, and collage-like compositional logics. Furthermore, the role of the creator shifts from a manual craft-based producer to an AI operator who orchestrates prompts and parameters, and audience experience transitions from narrative-centered immersion to sensory-driven, fragmentary consumption. By integrating these four dimensions, this study distinguishes itself by conceptualizing Generative AI not as a mere tool but as an environmental medium that reorganizes the structural foundations of the animation ecosystem. It further identifies pressing future challenges including platform based distribution, copyright and data ethics, AI-driven creative education, and industry wide collaborative systems—and emphasizes the need for a creative ecology in which technological efficiency and artistic diversity can coexist. In sum, Generative AI constitutes a media ecological turning point that redefines the technological, aesthetic, creative, and perceptual structures of 3D animation. This study aims to provide theoretical grounding and directional insight into this multifaceted transformation.
