위젯 서비스의 유저빌리티 디자인 경향 고찰

초록

The change to the web trend is immerging due to the development in web technology and the importance of individual service, requiring that users be entertained while more easily providing useful content and information. This refers to the change of the web site from web-centric to user-centric, recognizing the importance of individual service. The purpose of this thesis (report) is to emphasize the importance of widget service, which immerged as a change in web trend. Still in its beginning stage, widget service provides a variety of perspectives produced using appropriate design methods following characteristics GUI, WUI, MUI. In analyzing and discovering problems with the scope and usability of widget service, a more user-centric design can be created and more progress made in this trend. Therefore, the subject of this report is to understand the personal services on the web, to focus on analyzing the features, service products and design usability of widget by studying domestic, international and academic publications as well as the online database. We have confirmed that the widget has become the primary tool for providing individualized service to users. To meet the demand of personal users in accordance with the change of the times and web development, we were able to identify the following issues as the primary concerns to customer satisfaction for individual users before widget service became available. First, from a structural perspective, the navigation issue needs to be resolved so that users can access the web more effectively. Second, we were able to identify the different contents, quality of application and interface available for different tiers of users; a discrimination of content and visual perspective. In moving forward, we are expecting to have the detail specifications of widget service by preparing the fundamental and theoretic resources in design perspective. The usability of widget must be more clearly studied for the further development of widget as an individualized service tool.
