부모의 미디어 중재 방식이 미디어의 부정적 영향력 인식에 미치는 영향: 미디어 교육 경험의 조절 효과를 중심으로
초록
Since the advent of smart media, children have gained access to a variety of media, re-sulting in increased media usage. In this media-rich environment, the role of parents as mediators and educators of media use has become increasingly important. This study fo-cuses on exploring how different parental mediation strategies affect the negative im-pacts of media. Parental mediation strategies such as monitoring, active co-use, techno-logical utilization, and restrictions were examined, with all but restrictions showing a significant positive influence on media self-regulation. Media self-regulation, as a medi-ating variable, was found to significantly reduce negative perceptions of media. Additionally, the moderating effect of parental participation in media education was investigated. The results indicated that in groups where parents did not participate in media education, media self-regulation had a stronger impact on the dependent variables. This study provides insights into the implications of whether parents receive media education and the effectiveness of their mediation strategies.
