중국인 학습자의 한국어 습득 과정에 나타난강세구 실현 양상 연구

초록

The purpose of this study is to analyse the prosody in utterances produced by foreign learners of Korean language with focus on accentual phrase(AP) patterns depending on the syntactic difference. We performed sentence-reading experiments on 20 Korean-learning Chinese(including 10 beginners and 10 intermediate students) and 10 native Korean speakers. The results of this study showed that native Korean speakers distinguished compound nouns from relative clauses by the AP boundary and tone pattern. On the contrary, non-native speakers didn't use such prosodic features properly to differentiate between the two types of syntactic structure. The intermediate students tended to put the AP boundary between parts of a compound word. Some of beginners had difficulty even in generating AP. Our results suggest that second language learners may go through different stages in the prosody learning process.
