4차 산업혁명 분야 중국 혁신 기업의 성장요인 분석 : 센스타임, 바이트댄스, DJI를 중심으로

초록

This study aims to analyze the success factors of China's innovative start-ups. In 2015, China launched a new and intensive start-up promotion policy to foster ‘innovative start-ups’, which led China to become a country that has the second-largest number of unicorns in 2019, after the United States. Thus, beyond simply increasing in the number of new start-up businesses, China now has high national innovation capabilities and has power to influence the market. On the contrary, despite the high technological capabilities and human resources, Korea’s performance level of innovative start-up policy is weak. Thus, it is essential to identify the factors contributing towards the rapid success of Chinese innovative start-ups and come up with new solutions to take a leap forward. From an ecological perspective, this study identified various internal and external factors, which had a combined impact on the growth of innovative startups. Such factors include corporate overview, major performance, background and process of starting up a business, business model, success and barrier factors. Moreover, this analysis intended to draw meaningful lessons by focusing on three companies (i.e., Senstime, Byte Dance, DJI), which are known as the representative Chinese unicorns that achieved success with their originality of ideas and technology innovation.
