가정용 보안시스템 경험요인에 따른 IoT기반 스마트 홈 카메라의 UX개선방안

초록

Background The problems of IoT-based smart home cameras are becoming common. This study aims to discover negative experiences of existing smart home cameras and to come up with UX improvements to solve them. Methods Experience factors specialized in home security systems were derived according to the classification of information/functional/sensory UX. Based on the experience factors, we conducted questionnaires and interviews. Also, we collected negative experience data and to identify the cause of the problem, providing improvements. Results The negative experience factors of information UX were 'manipulation'. The improvements were 'providing options for additional network conditions such as Wifi and Bluetooth' and 'providing various experiences and interfaces of video content '. The negative experience factors of functional UX were 'convenience' and 'personalization'. The improvemens were to support 'specific user customized mode' and provide 'wireless charging method and universal stands'. In addition, the negative experience factors of sensory UX were 'reliability' and 'familiarity'. The improvements were 'providing a security mode from the external network', 'unnecessary alarm filtering system' and 'psychological stability experience to warm up the space'. Conclusion This UX research was conducted from the perspective of interconnected networks, apps and devices for smart home cameras. It is meaningful that the improvement plan would be used as a criterion for human-centered security systems.
