정보 접근성 향상을 위한 콘텐츠 디자인에 관한 연구 －여행정보 웹 사이트의 시각적 구성요소를 중심으로－

초록

The communication of information, using a web environment, becomes one of paradigms in human life. The volume of the information in a web environment becomes increasingly large, and is provided to users in various forms. Due to this, users end up reaching their desired information through many trails and errors in the vast and various web environments. Therefore, if the information is not accessible easily, it is difficult for users to communicate quickly and easily with the provided information. In this study, hence, we selected the top ranked websites, being used by the most users, as representative examples based on the travel websites, because the travel websites are the largest part in an e-biz sector that remains strong in a web environment. It is our goal to classify the examples by information architecture & each visual element and then represent information architecture and a design module so as to improve the accessibility of information. The standard of analysis was carried out by analyzing the web contents according to the user-centered deign in order to improve information accessibility based on the ideas that the web contents can be used in the most convenient way when designed from the user`s perspective. The classification standards for a user-centered design are analyzed by information design and information visualization. As for information design, it is analyzed by being classified as information layout (layout), information connection (icon) and information expression (color, front interaction). It is the analyzed results that 10 contents on main pages & 6 contents on sub pages and four elements; top navigation & two-row layout format, the combined icon format applied by text and metaphor, the unique point color and series of bright colors for identity, and the event-type interaction design using Gothic series of fonts and flash. From this, this study suggested the optimized module configuration for the content design of travel information. The web contents design using the information architecture & design module from this study is expected to improve the information accessibility efficiently so that users can access the desired information easily without making mistakes.
