한국과 EU의 서비스산업 유형별 혁신활동 다양성의 비교연구

초록

This study utilized the typology of technology innovation patterns in serviceindustries of Vence & Trigo(2009) to examine the degree of technology innovationby Korean service-sector enterprises. The main results are as follows. First, almostno innovation efforts or results are achieved in the low innovation-intensive sectorsand this reflects supplier-dominated characteristics where innovations from otherindustries are passively adopted. The technology-intensive & moderately innovationintensivesectors are weak in terms of investing in innovation but because of theirtechnology innovation orientation, industries in this sector are able to generateinnovative outcomes. Knowledge & innovation-intensive sectors both make highinvestments in innovation and achieve significant innovative results; enterprises inthese sectors generally cooperate with organizations having a high R&D orientation,such as universities and public research centers, to achieve innovative outcomes.
