모바일게임 온라인리뷰 분석을 통한 게임요소 및 토픽탐색

초록

With high penetration of smart phones, mobile games, as a new entertainment, are getting more popular and their market has reached a sizable growth. Countless individual game developers and small and medium sized companies rushed into the market, which is bringing serious market competition. To provide them referential information available for new mobile games, this study is aimed at identifying mobile game characteristics that game players value and are interested in. Through analyzing(multiple response analysis and Topic Modeling of LDA) around 1750 online reviews of thee mobile games falling into the action genre, 44 specific elements divided into seven categories of the system, maneuverability, sociality, algorithm of operation, supports of auditory and visual information, operational freedom, and service and four topics of ‘the stable management practical interest-oriented’, ‘the emotion oriented’, ‘the achievement practical interest-oriented’, and ‘the challenge oriented’. The significance of this study can be for identifying market responses of the mobile games targeted in this study and significance of online reviews by users of the games as a new reservoir of information. Further researches on the matter of more various mobile games accompanying more sophisticated source code preprocessing techniques are encouraged
