The findings identify four stages in Lee’s artistic trajectory: (1) Formative Period (1950–1983) establishing the foundations of tradition, modernity, and education; (2) Active Period (1984–1990) integrating choreography and pedagogy; (3) Constructive Period (1991–2005) developing and systematizing the aesthetics of Hangeul Dance; and (4) Transmission Period (2006–2022) advancing the socialization of art through the M Theater and the in stitutionalization of dance studies.
