BERTopic 기반 토픽 모델링을 활용한 국내외 모듈러 건축 연구의 비교 분석 및 연구공백 도출

초록

This study analyzes research trends in modular construction using BERTopic-based topic model- ing on 4,251 international and 305 domestic papers published between 2015 and 2025. Indepen- dent international and domestic models, followed by an integrated model of 4,556 papers, were applied to compare topic structures and identify areas of concentration and limitation in domestic research. The international model produced 19 topics with 12 showing significant growth, whereas the domestic model converged into four mega-topics. The integrated model revealed that domestic participation was notably limited in environmental topics such as carbon emis- sions and circular economy, as well as digital technology topics including construction robotics. These findings confirm that domestic research is concentrated in a specific set of core topics rather than distributed across global research themes.
