사용자 인지 경험 유도를 위한 어포던스 디자인에 관한 연구-스마트 UI 사용성을 중심으로-

초록

The contemporary society’s smart development is shifting the current data communication environment to a new smart media-applied paradigm. Also, at the core, there are smart UI-applied user’s communication processes. At this point of time, further studies on the design methods to ensure higher usability through cognitive experiences of uses in various types of smart UI will be necessary. There is a need for the design materializing affordance that enables smart UI users to behave naturally. Therefore, the study aims to apply affordance design based on the users’ experience with smart UI in accordance with the smart paradigm and to study smart UI design to improve usability of users. To achieve the goal, a focus interview with experts was conducted, resulting in the discovery of important factors of affordance design including visual terms (image, text, metaphor and volume) and significance terms (visual clues, directional instructions, expression of current conditions and behavioral expression). As the factors of assessment to improve usability, the levels of impact on effectiveness, efficiency, convenience and satisfaction were analyzed, followed by the five-point Likert scale and preference analysis. As a result, afforance design factors in terms of visuality and significance positively affected usability in general. Especially, the metaphor of visuality factors related to higher levels of usability. However, the level of impact on satisfaction was relatively low. This signifies that there will be further studies in terms of data structure due to lack of adaptation to new environment.
