Design and Consideration of Broadband 60-GHz Antenna in Package

초록

Two different types of antenna-in-package are introduced, and the design and consideration are discussed for 60GHz frequency band. The E-shaped L-probe antenna in package reveals wide bandwidth thanks to its E-shaped and L-probe structure because it forms a multi-resonance structure. Horn antenna in package reveals a compact volume thanks to its own geometry. These two types of antennas are expected to be candidates for antenna in a package to be used in 60-GHz communications in the future. © 2024 IEEE.
