초록

The formulation of Tsallis q-entropy within the framework of the photoionization process is presented for nonextensive plasmas. In this study, the effects of Tsallis q-entropy on the K-shell photoionization of hydrogenic ions in nonextensive plasmas are systematically examined. The ground-state eigenfunctions and corresponding energy eigenvalues of the target ions are obtained using the Ritz variational method. It is found that the inclusion of Tsallis q-entropy results in a suppression of the cross section for the photoionization process. Moreover, it is found that the influence of Tsallis q-entropy decreases with an increasing ratio of the electron temperature to the ion temperature. Furthermore, it is observed that the influence of q-entropy on the photoionization cross section progressively diminishes as the photon energy increases. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Società Italiana di Fisica and Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2025.
