Deducting UX Facts by Processing Associated Words from Big Data through Persona

초록

The research aimed to elicit the design concept through extracting factors of user experience for product designer. In order to conduct the research, user feedback, preference, user emotion and big data of lifestyle were utilized. As a theorical background, the basic concepts of big data were described as well as the pilot study and the case analysis were conducted for the extraction of factors of user experience design. In the main body, the experiment about factors of user experience was designed via the opened analytic tool of big data. The product design concept was selected from factors of user experience through the collection of keywords and scenario classification of user behavior by persona. As object model of experiment, the vacuum was selected as one of household electric appliances for analysis. The reason is that it is useful to observe user’s daily life pattern. The design concept of vacuum is a dual system and small size. Also, It has useful movement in order to clean up simply. The head of the vacuum is separable type from main body, which is able to replace the part in the form of one touch. The research is able to elicit the design concept reflected on user needs via the extraction of user experience and factors through personas in place of qualitative data of big data. Hence, the result offers the method to definitive the user requirement about user experience keywords extracted by the big data analysis tool in place of subjective interpretation from designers.
