초록

This study, which looked at poetry world of postwar poet Jeon Young-kyung, aimed to identify its characteristics. In the first place, we have to pay our attention to it that his poetry showed anti-lyrical sentiments distinct from his contemporaries. Away from then poetry world in search of aesthetic construction of the world, he sought to dismantle forms of poetry and describe things behind the societal reality using prosaic language. Typical characteristic of his poetry was that he established epic narrators and described our corrupt society via diverse narrations, consequently making poetry unlike poems. Jeon Young-kyung used low-class style for his poetic language and showed carnival-like imagination via polyphonic texts. Using prosaic form and non-poetic language, he demonstrated his unique aesthetics in the postwar poetry world that was about to branch due to aesthetic experiments.
