한반도의 Terrain 분류별 VS30 제안

초록

VS30 is used as a key variable for prediction seismic intensity. Therefore, VS30 data covering the Korean Peninsula is needed. Iwahashi and Pike (2007) defined the terrain classification as combination of gradient, convexity, and texture ranges, which are calculated from the Digital Elevation Model (DEM). The terrain indirectly represents the geological properties. Since VS30 is related to geological properties, it also relates to terrain classification. We develop the terrain using the Korean Peninsula DEM and suggest an optimal VS30–terrain relationship.
