오스테나이트계 스테인리스강 앵글 보-기둥 반강접 접합부의 이력거동에 관한 실험 및 해석적 연구

초록
With the increasing demand for stainless steel as a structural material due to its excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and ductility, the need to evaluate its structural performance in practical applications has become increasingly significant. This study investigates the behaviors of semi-rigid beam-column connections fabricated with austenitic stainless steel (STS316) angle cleats through experiment and finite element analysis (FEA). The test specimens were designed to simulate the behavior of semi-rigid connections under cyclic loading, and their initial stiffness, yield moment, and energy dissipation capacities were evaluated. A finite element model incorporating a combined isotropic-kinematic hardening material model was developed, and its accuracy was verified through sensitivity analyses on element type and mesh size by comparison with experimental results. Furthermore, a parametric study was performed to examine the effect of angle thickness on the structural behavior. The results showed that increasing the angle thickness led to improvements in both stiffness and strength, demonstrating that the proposed numerical approach provides an efficient and reliable method for the analysis and design of semi-rigid beam-to-column connections using austenitic stainless steel angle cleats
