Diffusion Analysis of ICT and Robot Technology Using I-O Tables

초록

The contributions of technological innovation to growth and competitiveness is made possible through adoption and practical application in the field. This study estimates the level of diffusion of an ICT and an industrial robot using the Input-Output Table. The result of the study can be summarized as follows. Diffusion rate of the ICT is almost the even across the manufacturing sector and the service sector, uneven within each sector. Increasing diffusion rate of the robot, in terms of the rate of intermediate input, is lower than the diffusion rate of the ICT. This implies the early stage of the robot technology in terms of diffusion. Technology intensive manufacturing sector is estimated to lead diffusion of the robot technology in the manufacturing sector.
