애니메이션 <이야기속의 이야기>에 표현된 회상에 대한 연구

초록

Pictorial scene composition intrinsic to animation images has atypical characteristics like plasma, which can make ‘souvenir pur’ much more effectively and freely expressed in animation through pure visual perception and auditory images. The purpose of this paper is to show how ‘souvenir pur`` as a special type of memory is represented in animation film. Yuri Norstein`s animation film in 1979, is selected in order to analyze representation of his `souvenir pur` because it is renound to successfully express author`s thought and emotion on ‘souvenir pur’ through nonlinguistic images rather than narrative with a systematic plot. In this paper, sequence analysis and Deleuze`s cinema image semiology is applied for analyzing , which needed literature search and review on the papers and texts about Bergson, Deleuze and . In this paper, analyses on the sequence and the images of show that the causal composition is constructed by nonlinear narrative rather than linear narrative through a poetic arrangement of animation images with montage, and that ‘souvenir pur’ is expressed by meaning of animation images and their contrast and connection. In , several floating memory-images and dream-images without reversion are arranged in poetic montage, which represents ‘souvenir pur’ successfully. Finally, it is suggested that pictorial scene composition intrinsic to animation images is essential in representing ‘souvenir pur’ in animation film.
