Analysis of Factors Causing Quality Degradation and Role-Based Process Framework for Floor Impact Sound Construction Quality Management

초록

This study proposes a practical quality control framework to reduce heavyweight impact noise in apartment buildings by identifying key factors contributing to quality degradation during construction. A literature review, legal analysis, and surveys with experts from four major construction firms identified five critical construction phases influencing sound insulation: material management, surface leveling, resilient material installation, lightweight concrete and screed application, and final finishing. Recurring quality deviations and insufficient coordination among stakeholders were identified as common challenges. Based on these findings, the study specifies essential control points for each phase and defines the roles of the client, architect, contractor, and supervisor. Unlike existing regulations that focus on post-construction testing, this framework prioritizes preventive, real-time quality control. The proposed process addresses both legal shortcomings and site-level constraints, enhancing its practicality for real-world construction projects. This research contributes to establishing a role- based, proactive quality management system for inter-floor noise control and provides guidance for practical application.
