IPA를 활용한 스포츠 전공자의 취업 진로 결정요인 분석

초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the importance and satisfaction of employment career determinants among sports majors using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) framework, with satisfaction used as the performance indicator. A total of 170 online questionnaires were distributed to sports majors enrolled in or graduated from a four-year university in the metropolitan area from March 27 to May 30, 2025, using judgment sampling. After excluding insincere responses, 163 valid questionnaires were used for the final analysis. The data were analyzed using SPSS Windows Ver. 25.0, employing frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach's α reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, and IPA matrix analysis. The results were as follows. Quadrant I (Keep up the good work) included faculty expertise and self-directed career decision-making. Quadrant II (Concentrate here) included seven attributes: field practice opportunities, certificate acquisition education, self-directed qualification preparation, career information provision, required qualifications for major-related occupations, career programs, and responsiveness to changes in the sports industry. Quadrant III (Low priority) included employment status, aptitude-occupation fit, preferred occupational groups, wage levels, and required educational background. Quadrant IV (Possible overkill) included interest in educational content, job prospects, employee benefits, and academic achievement.
