투입산출 구조분해를 통한 한국 해양산업 성장기여요인 분석

This study prepared an input-output table for the marine and fishery industry from 1995 to 2016, and analyzed the contribution rates of five factors for the increase in total output of the marine and fishery industry: domestic final demand and export demand, import substitution for final goods, import substitution for intermediate goods, and technological change (demand for domestic intermediate goods) were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the growth of the marine and fishery industry was led by the increase in export demand, followed by the final domestic demand and technological change. However, import substitutions for final goods and intermediate goods were found to have a negative effect on the growth of the maritime and fisheries industry. Looking at the sub-industry of the marine and fishery industry, export demand was found to be the most important in the shipping and port industries, building and repair of Ship and offshore plant industries, and the marine and fishery equipment manufacturing industries. However, in the aquatic product industry, aquatic processing industry, aquatic distribution business, marine leisure tourism industry, and marine and fishery-related service industry, the final domestic demand was found to be the most important. Therefore, in order to increase the total output of the marine and fishery industry, it is judged that the first industrial group needs a policy to strengthen international competitiveness to increase exports. On the other hand, in the case of the second group, there is a need to prepare a policy to boost domestic demand.
