In this work, a wideband millimeter-wave F-probed biscuit feeding magneto-electric (ME) dipole antenna is proposed for a 60-GHz unlicensed band. Compared with the traditional ME dipole antenna, the proposed ME dipole shows a comparable improved gain, and it exhibits a more simplified design and a smaller footprint due to the floated V-patch which enhanced the bandwidth as compared with the traditional L-probe antenna. The proposed Antenna's complementary nature causes it to emit a unidirectional radiation pattern with a broad bandwidth. The proposed ME dipole antenna had the simulated S11 less than -10 dB with 21.6% bandwidth covering from 55.8GHz to 69.32GHz and peak gain of 11dBi with 3-dB gain bandwidth of 37.8% covering 51.11GHz to 75GHz. © 2024 IEEE.
