청소년의 성형태도와 성형의도에 영향을미치는 요인탐색: 개인적 특성요인, 준거집단 요인, SNS이용 요인을 중심으로

This study conducted a survey with 440 middle & high school students in metropolitan areas of Seoul, asking their attitudes and behavioral intention of plastic surgery. The results indicated that reference groups were the most important in predicting the risk-taking attitude toward plastic surgery. Use of health/diet contents was also positively related to the risk-taking attitude. Teenager respondents showed that personal variables such as gender, interest in appearance, and acceptance of values in appearance were important in predicting the attitude toward values of plastic surgery. Peers’ attitude toward plastic surgery was the strongest predictor in the attitude of values of plastic surgery. Teenager respondents’ attitudes toward plastic surgery and variables of reference groups were closely related to their intention of receiving plastic surgery.
