초록
This study investigated the influence of emotional and charismatic leadership of adult ballet instructors on class engagement and class satisfaction. To this end, a survey was conducted with adult participants enrolled in private dance academies, and a total of 274 valid responses were used for the final analysis. The questionnaire consisted of 44 items covering personal characteristics, emotional leadership, charismatic leadership, class engagement, and class satisfaction. All variables were measured using a five-point Likert scale based on previous studies. Data were analyzed using SPSS through exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that both emotional and charismatic leadership had significant positive effects of class engagement and class satisfaction. In particular, differences were observed in the influence of each sub-factor of class immersion. In terms of class satisfaction, emotional leadership was found to have a relatively stronger influence. Therefore, this suggests that adult ballet instructors need to utilize leadership strategies that can enhance learnersʼ immersion and satisfaction when conducting classes.
