한국 TV 애니메이션 기획, 제작과정 효율화 방안 : 프리프로덕션과 방영일정을 중심으로

초록

This article is for pin-pointing the problem in development and production process of Korean animated TV series which is struggling due to a lack of competitiveness in pre-production quality and sales revenues. Lots of suggestions and efforts have been made for improvement of contents power of Korean animated TV series, which is in the transition process from work-for-hire industry to contents creation industry. Still, the quality of Korean animation in terms of story-telling and creativity does not seem to be high enough to compete in global market. An assumption is made, which is, there must be the problem in actual development and production process in the business field which prevents the industry from improving the creativity of Korean animated TV series, and through the study on actual production cases of Korean animated TV series, compared with cases of other countries, a problem in the time-pressure on pre-production process has been found out. To meet the TV broadcasting schedule, the development and production of Korean animated TV series have to be processed under tremendous time pressure, and due to this time pressure, the creative development such as story line and character is being made in a less seriousness effort without enough consideration to make a creatively competitive pre-production. This time-schedule problem seems to be one of major obstacles for Korean animation industry to survive in global market, which should be resolved for the real development of Korean cultural contents industry. 접어두기
